My Journey,

Hey Everyone, My name is Matt and I am the Owner and Author of Popular Products. A little background about me. I come from a small town in rural Pennsylvania. As a kid I moved to Houston Texas. When I was younger I never really knew what I wanted to do. Spending the majority of my career in the electrical industry, Never feeling like I found my calling. Writing has always been a passion of mine since I was a little kid. Writing imaginary stories as a child up to journaling as an adult, like I do daily. Struggling with depression and alcohol addiction through the years, there has never been an out. Until I found blogging. Blogging has been the greatest reliever of stress to take me out of my own head and into a world of creativity. Helping me along the way in my recovery journey, blogging has been a God send. Being able to put the thoughts in your head out onto paper is the greatest thing we have at our disposal. Popular Products at one time was just a thought. Sitting on the couch one day scrolling through a popular social media site, I said to myself " They sure have a lot of popular products on here". That was it, Popular Products it was. Getting the blog off the ground has been hard. It hasn't caught much traction, but that is ok. Starting the blog has paid me more in peace of mind than money could ever buy. It has been a challenging, yet rewarding experience. I would recommend anyone looking to start blogging to give it a shot. You will not be disappointed. Hopefully I can hear your stories as well. If anyone is struggling with addiction or mental health issues, feel free to reach out. I am not a doctor but I have been there and can lend an ear.
